Products & Pricing
Oh Silk! scarves, bandanas, and camisoles are available in a wide variety of sizes, designs, and colours. Custom dyeing is available by appointment as are 'dye your own' workshops. Charmeuse chemises/dresses are available by special order only, and veils are available only as dye your own.
Should you see one of our products and like the colour scheme but wish to have it in another length or type of silk, please keep in mind that our products are hand-dyed,
one-of-a-kind. Even when the same colours are used, no two products turn out the same. In addition, each type of silk absorbs the dyes differently. For example, habotai silk dyes with a ‘flatter’ colour while silk satin silk presents as smoother and richer.
Oh Silk! silks have been prewashed to remove excess silk gum. Measurements are approximate as shipments can vary a bit and there is some initial shrinkage (5-7%) from the first wash.
Silk is weighted as “mm” which means momme; the bigger the number, the heavier the weight of silk.
The following chart provides a list of our products, an explanation of the types of silk, measurements (pre washing and hemming) and prices (taxes are included):

Considered the "Mercedes" of the silks, Crepe de Chine is heavier and more substantial than Habotai; it also has some stretch to it.

Flat Crepe with Fringe Scarves – 8mm
Flat Crepe is like a cross between Crepe de Chine and Habotai. While it has the weight of Habotai, the flattened Crepe weave makes it a bit shinier. The fringe adds to the elegance of this scarf.

Charmeuse Camisoles
Considered the “Porsche’ of silks, Charmeuse has traditionally been considered to be one of the best silks. With a muted crepe on the back side and shimmery lustrous satin on the top side, Charmeuse is heavier and more substantial than Silk Satin or Crepe de Chine. Charmeuse has a supple and luxuriously heavy drape. Our camisoles hug the body gently and have a bit of ‘give’. Necklines are rolled edging instead of facing.
