About Our Silks
Oh Silk! sells only first class, grade A silk grown, woven, and sewn in mainland China (with the exception of the plus size camisoles, which we sew). Oh Silk! and the suppliers of our silk oppose unfair treatment of workers, forced labour, child labour, and any action that deprives individuals of human dignity. Our suppliers have made every effort to ensure that ‘sweat shop’ labour has not been used to produce our products.
Oh Silk! scarves and camisoles are not only elegant but stylish, perfect for an evening out or to enhance casual or business attire. Silk is a multi-weather fabric. Silk's absorbency makes it comfortable to wear in warm weather and while active. It’s also perfect for women experiencing menopausal hot flashes as it breathes and dries quickly. During cold weather, its low conductivity keeps warm air close to the skin.
Oh Silk! silks should be hand washed in cold water with a bit of mild soap. Though every effort has been made to remove excess dye, some residual dye may bleed out. Do not be concerned. Your silk will continue to look stunning. Squeeze and lay out on a tea towel; iron on high steam until dry.
